I often fall asleep during the meditations. Is this normal?

If this happens (especially if you are a beginner), it means that there may be a problem that you need to address. Your body is taking advantage of this moment of rest to simply fall asleep, and this could mean that you are sleep deprived. The solution to this is quite obvious; you need to get more sleep during the night, so try go to bed earlier every day, and in about a week or so you’ll be able to do the meditations properly. It could also mean that you’re getting too comfortable during the meditations, and so try to adopt a sitting position for the meditations instead of one lying down.
